Venue: Windsor Racecourse, Maidenhead Road, Royal Windsor SL4 5EZ
The Royal Windsor Horse Show is a truly international event which takes place in a beautiful, quintessentially English setting.
The full programme encompasses international jumping, international dressage, International Carriage Driving and an International Endurance competition.
In addition there are over 100 showing classes, displays from The Household Cavalry and The King’s Troop, competitions such as The DAKS Pony Club Mounted Games, The Shetland Pony Grand National, as well as military competitions.
In addition to this you will also find over 200 shops, a 4x4 driving experience and a fair ground.
For refreshments, there is an excellent variety of food and drink options around the showground. There are also plenty of places for you to sit in the grounds if you bring a picnic in with you. For more information go to www.rwhs.co.uk
If horses are not your cup of tea, don’t worry, because Windsor and the surrounding area have so much to offer with the Castle on your doorstep and shops a plenty. For a family day out, Legoland is only a short drive away too.
We also plan to continue with our optional tours from the site, including a walking tour of Windsor, a walking tour around the Valley Gardens and a two hour boat trip on the Thames.
The ever popular temporary site on Windsor Racecourse now in its eight year, has electric hook ups, fresh water and chemical waste disposal. Please note, due to our site being relocated, there will be no toilet facilities again this year; you will need to use the facilities in your caravan.
From here you could walk to the show, travel by riverboat or take advantage of our private hire service.
